Art In The City

Since I haven't been able to upload much of my artwork the past few days (been in the middle of working on projects) I decided to go out and take some pictures of murals around the city. I also took some reference photos for a painting I will be starting soon.. So stay tuned for that!

15 Minute Figure Drawing

This was a 15 Minute Figure drawing I did. It is one of many quick sketches That I got to work on with the two models.

Paper

I am currently working on a project that is dealing with the structural possibilities of paper. This piece is two layered photographs, each photograph depicts paper. One is of paper from a book that I placed on a mirror, and the other is of a paper sculpture that I found one day in D.C.

Excess of Comfort

This piece is on the excess of comfort. It's a selection out of a series of mono prints that were all based around a taxonomy I designed on the subject of comfort. The interesting thing about mono prints is you never really know how they will turn out.

the first of many to come...

Nowadays there's artwork on just about anything. Made out of just about anything. Well here's a blog about my artwork made from not just about anyone. It's just me and my art. Whenever I find things that are 90% Fartsy and 10% Artsy (or whatever the artsy to fartsy ratio is) I will share it with you. Most of all, I am going to share with you what making art is like for me. All the mistakes, and all the triumphs included. all my sketchy sketches and painful projects.
